MAG*I*CAL Standard

Technoorg Linda  is pleased to announce the purchase of Norrox Scientific, including their gold-standard MAG*I*CAL Calibration Standard for TEM.  For the last ten years, Technoorg Linda has manufactured the MAG*I*CAL Calibration Standards for Norrox Scientific using state-of-the-art ion beam technology.  The superb-quality MAG*I*CAL Standards are a testament to the effectiveness of the TEM sample preparation system:  preliminary preparation with the Microheat, MicroPol, and MicroSaw, ion milling with the IV3/IV4 ion mill, and finishing with the Gentle Mill to eliminate surface damage.   Technoorg Linda will now take over world-wide distribution as well as continuing to manufacture the MAG*I*CAL Standards.  Sales relationships with the vendors who supply the Standards to TEM microscopists world-wide will be maintained. The MAG*I*CAL Standard allows the user to perform three important calibrations: Imagen Magnification Calibration at all magnification ranges, Camera Constant calibration and calibration of image or diffraction pattern rotation.
